Frequently asked questions
Is a driving license required?
No. The Swincar is certified as a leisure vehicle. A 10-minute initiation is all you need.
What is the minimum age?
From age 6 as a passenger on the Tandem model, from 16 to drive solo.
Is swimming at the waterfall possible year-round?
Swimming is possible from May to September. In winter, the waterfall is just as spectacular but the water is too cold.
How long does the ride take?
Allow approximately 1h45 in total: 44 min on the trail + 40 min of cultural activities + briefing.
Step by step
The detailed route
Dar Souleimane
Departure point at Dar Souleimane, a partner riad in Ourika Valley. Welcome, safety briefing and Swincar initiation. Helmet and protective vest provided.
Berber House
First stop at an authentic Berber house. Mint tea ceremony and meeting with local residents.
Camel Safari
Photo stop with camels, a fun mini-ride through the fields. The kids' favourite moment.
Local Cooperative
Visit a Berber women's cooperative — argan oil, pottery, weaving. An authentic exchange that supports the local economy.
Ourika Waterfall
Your circuit follows the road toward Setti-Fatma, end of the valley and starting point of the 7 waterfalls. Stop by the Ourika River, walk to the waterfall, swimming possible in summer.
Berber Palace — SKEUR
Highest point of the circuit at 1,220m. 360° panoramic view of the High Atlas — on a clear day, you can see Oukaïmeden ski resort (2,600m), the highest in Africa. Living museum of Amazigh heritage.
